This year's General Election is being held on Nov. 4, 2025.

This election is called the Municipal Election but includes some County and Statewide offices.

Polls in Pennsylvania will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. If you're in line by 8:00 PM, you have the legal right to vote—so stay in line!

Here’s a quick breakdown to help you plan your day:

🕖 Opening Time: Polls open at 7:00 AM sharp. Early birds can cast their votes before work or morning errands.

🕗 Closing Time: Polls close at 8:00 PM. As long as you're in line by then, you won’t be turned away.

🪪 ID requirements: You only need to show ID if it’s your first time voting at your current polling location. Acceptable forms include photo IDs or non-photo IDs with your name and address

📬 Mail-in ballots: If you're voting by mail, your completed ballot must be received by 8:00 PM on Election Day—not just postmarked

Are you registered to vote?

To vote in Pennsylvania, you must first register to vote at least 15 days before the election. This year it is October 20th, 2025

You can register to vote online, by mail, or at a number of government agencies, including Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Photo License and Driver’s License Centers.
