LETTER FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CARBON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY CHAIR:
The November 4, 2025 election showed what we can accomplish together. Turnout rose across Carbon County—up 8–12% in several precincts—and volunteers logged more than 2,500 hours through postcards, fairs, parades, phone banks, and community events. That effort delivered real results.
Democrats won competitive municipal races in Jim Thorpe, Palmerton, and Lehighton, expanded support in Penn Forest and Kidder Township, and made gains in traditionally tough areas. Many races were decided by only a few votes—proof that every conversation and every volunteer action matters.
Key countywide highlights:
• Turnout increased in 17 of 23 precincts where Democrats grew our vote share.
• Palmerton and Lehighton saw double-digit margin improvements.
• Penn Forest 6 and 7 posted strong Democratic swings.
• Kidder Township registrations increased by more than 5%.
• More voter contacts were made in 2025 than in the last two cycles combined.
These results reflect a clear message: residents want responsible development, strong schools, environmental protection, and leadership that works for our communities.
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re recruiting candidates earlier, expanding voter registration in fast-growing areas, strengthening precinct operations, hosting more year-round events, and improving communication with voters.
Thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, donated, or helped spread the word. This progress belongs to all of us—and together, we’re building a stronger, safer, and more vibrant Carbon County.
With gratitude,
